Light Arrays

Light Array Sensors combine multiple emitter or receiver elements into a single housing to create a sensing field instead of a single sensing beam. Therefore, these sensors can detect targets over a wider area. This makes the arrays ideal for detecting oddly shaped parts, products with gaps or spaces, or inconsistently positioned targets, at a fraction of the cost of using multiple sensor pairs.

Bulletin 45AST Area scanners are compact, easy-to-use non-safety light screens for small part detection and assembly applications. The 45AST uses two-dimensional scanning technology to sense an object regardless of its orientation. This is ideal for the detection and counting of parts being ejected from a machine.

Bulletin 45DLA Discrete Light Array Photoelectric Sensors detect targets anywhere in a two dimensional area — even if the parts are irregularly shaped, sized or positioned. These cost-effective sensors combine multiple emitter or receiver elements into a single housing to create a sensing field that can detect targets over a wider area...

Bulletin 45MLA Measuring Light Array Photoelectric Sensors detect or measure targets in a two dimensional area—even if the parts are irregularly shaped, sized, or positioned. These sensors can detect and communicate individual beam status to measure and determine the position of objects. The emitter and receiver arrays are connected to...

Bulletin 45PVA Part Verification Light Array Photoelectric Sensors are specifically designed for bin-picking applications and object detection in the parts assembly industry. When used as part of a suitably configured bin-picking system, the 45PVA effectively prevents mispicks to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime. It is also the...
